That's right, there was an epic... no, cross-out epic... an INSANELY FILTHY BEAST of a swell that pumped through the Tahitian Islands, particularly situating itself on that she-devil known as Teahupo'o, and Nathan's wave was the star attraction. From Kelly Slater to Mick Fanning, Nathan's ride is what they've all been talking about. As a result, Nathan's been getting a lot of deserved press and has even scored several covers already; Carve Magazine, Wavelength, Surfing World, Transworld Surf... and that's just this month alone. Nathan is now one of maybe two other surfers (Slater and the late Andy Irons) to covet such a rare feat of being on the front cover of several surf publications during the same time period.
